Do what /r/interestingasfuck did. Let the subreddit go completely open. Mark the subreddit as NSFW so when Reddit changes its api to prevent people from seeing nsfw posts they won't see the subreddit. Only moderate the bare minimum and withhold site rules. Otherwise, trash the community.
